I’ve finally updated my website.  And I faithfully promise to keep updating it, as my wonderful website designer has shown me a simple way to do it.  He’s also set me up with a blog, which I shall try to write in as frequently as possible.

As a child I was bossy and a bit of a geek. No – that’s not fair on myself. I was desperate for approval, dying to be popular and did quite enjoy school. I lived in north London and went to a local primary school with some fantastic teachers. Then I transferred to the City of London School for Girls at 11. I continued being a geek until I discovered boys. Then I became a fashion victim and a very enthusiastic teenager. I still quite liked school. That is, I liked learning and lessons, but not the rules and uniform. I argued with my teachers a lot, especially in English.

WHAT I’M READING

07/01/2008
Title: Single Mother on the Verge
  Author: Maria Roberts
Comment: Don’t be misled by the Chick Lit cover - this blog-turned-novel is both sharply observant, tender and upbeat.  I heard Maria read from the book before Christmas along with Nicola Mostyn and Emma Unsworth - the Prose Formation Team.  These are the writers to watch in 2010 - trust me!
