How It All Began ..
Two summers ago I was in Birmingham visiting some libraries. At lunch I was chatting with a librarian who was training for the London Marathon to raise funds for a paralysed friend. As I left the restaurant, I knew that my next teen novel was going to be about how spinal cord injury affects both victims and those closest to them.
Yes, it was as sudden as that. That’s the way inspiration strikes. It’s partly a magic thing, but also a moment of recognition – but when a novel wants you to write it, there’s generally a few good reasons.

Hi, I’m really not someone who reads at all, I’ve probaly only ever read about 4 books in my life, not including the ones we’re forced to read at school!! Hi, I just fineshed reading Paralysed and thought it was one of the best books ive ever read! I simply could not put it down! It is the quickest book i ever read and i did’nt want it to end! i just finished reading this book,i almost felt like crying it really touched me.i love this book.when i finished the book i kinda felt sad, because just wish there was going to be more and more pages.i can’t wait to read more novels of yours because this book was the first.i really liked the way u layed out the book. i will never ever forget this book
